Returns & Exchanges

Before purchasing any item via The Open Showroom please consider our returns policy.

On delivery of your order, we recommend you thoroughly check your items before disposing of original packaging including the removal of price tags.

If for any reason you are not happy with your order we will accept returns on full price and sale items where:

  • You advise of your intent to return the item as soon as possible
  • The item/s is returned within 14 days from the date you receive you order
  • The item/s is in its original condition and has not been worn, washed or altered in any way. Shoes must not have scuffmarks or be damaged in any way.
  • The item/s are in their original, undamaged packaging (including boxes, dust bags, hangers, garment covers) and The Open Showroom price tags are still attached and intact in their original position.
  • The item/s are packaged carefully to ensure safe return. Original boxes must be undamaged and cannot be used as external packaging for returns.

The Open Showroom reserves the right to deny any returns that do not meet the above requirements.

Please note that sale items can only be returned when deemed faulty and cannot be returned for change of mind or other reason.

Due to hygiene reasons we are unable to accept returns for earrings of any type.

Faulty Items

  • Faulty items are those which are received damaged or where a manufacturing fault has occurred within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Items that have been damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered faulty.
  • Where possible we will offer to repair faulty items but you will also be offered an exchange for the same item in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. If the item cannot be replaced due to product availability we will provide a full refund.
  • To advise The Open Showroom of a faulty garment please email returns@theopenshowroom.com with photographic evidence of the faulty item using the subject line FAULTY ITEM so we can address this issue immediately.
  • If the item is deemed faulty, The Open Showroom will cover the cost of return shipping as well as the cost to send a replacement item.

Exchanges

  • Where an incorrect size and colour has been purchased, The Open Showroom will happily exchange your order providing it meets the requirements of our returns policy.
  • As stock is only available in limited quantities and sizes, The Open Showroom recommends that you purchase a replacement order as soon as possible. We will credit your account as soon as receive the original order returned by you. If the item you require is showing ‘SOLD OUT’ please email returns@theopenshowroom.com with the subject line EXCHANGE REQUEST – STOCK AVAILABILITY and we will try to assist with your request.

Returns from addresses within Australia

  1. First, please make sure you have read and understand our returns policy.
  2. Email returns@theopenshowroom.com with the subject line RETURN REQUEST and include in the email:
    • Your order number
    • The item/s you are returning
    • The reason for your return (including photographic evidence where you have a damaged or faulty item)
  1. On receipt of your email, we will provide you with a unique Return Authorisation Number and return address.
  2. Please return the item back to Customer Care at The Open Showroom via Australia Post Registered Post with delivery tracking.
  3. All postage costs for returned goods (except where the items are faulty) are payable by the customer.
  4. The Open Showroom will not be held responsible for lost or damaged goods where the item is being returned to us.

Once the item/s has been received by us and is deemed to meet the requirements of our returns policy you will be issued with a refund. Please allow 1-3 business days for this refund to be processed back to the credit card the original purchase was made on.

Returns from addresses outside Australia

  1. First, please make sure you have read and understand our returns policy.

    • Your order number
    • The item/s you are returning
    • The reason for your return (including photographic evidence where you have a damaged or faulty item)

  2. Once you have prepared the relevant documents, please return the item back to Customer Care at The Open Showroom using a service provider with delivery tracking.
  3. All postage costs for returned goods (except where the items are faulty) are payable by the customer.
  4. The Open Showroom will not be held responsible for lost or damaged goods where the item is being returned to us.

Once the item/s has been received by us and is deemed to meet the requirements of our returns policy you will be issued with a refund. Please allow 1-3 business days for this refund to be processed back to the credit card the original purchase was made on.
